This policy explains what personal data Lubs Co. SARL (Kinshasa, Democratic Republic of the Congo) and its subsidiary Lubs Co. (Pty) Ltd (South Africa) collect through this website, why, and how you can control it.

Data we collect

• Quote and invoice requests: company, name, email, phone, country, product, quantity, delivery site and your message.
• Partner applications: company, contact details, country and what you offer.
• Shipment tracking: only the tracking code you type. No account or password is needed.
• Newsletter: your email address and language.
• Visit statistics: anonymous counts of pages viewed, with no cookie and no stored IP address.

Why we use it

To answer your request, prepare proforma invoices and contracts, organise and track deliveries, review partnership offers, send the newsletter you subscribed to, and improve the website. The legal basis is the steps taken at your request before a contract, the performance of that contract, our legitimate interest in running the business, and your consent for the newsletter and optional cookies.

Who receives it

Only the Lubs Co. team. The website and its database are hosted by Hostinger. We never sell or rent your data.

How long we keep it

• Requests and partner applications: 3 years after the last contact.
• Proforma invoices and shipment records: as long as accounting and tax law requires.
• Newsletter: until you unsubscribe.

Cookies

• Necessary: a session cookie (lubsco) keeps the forms secure. It is deleted when you close your browser and needs no consent.
• Your choice: your cookie preference is remembered in your browser for 6 months.
• Measurement (optional): if you click “Accept”, Google Analytics may set cookies (_ga) for up to 13 months to measure visits. If you refuse, nothing is loaded.

You can change your choice at any time with the “Cookies” link at the bottom of every page.

Your rights

You can ask to access, correct, delete or receive a copy of your data, object to its use, or withdraw your consent. Write to contact@lubsco.co.za. We reply within one month.

Security

The website uses an encrypted connection (HTTPS). Access to the administration is protected by password and limited to authorised staff.
